Focus Issue: Currently, most aluminum panel walls in public and residential buildings exhibit deformation. The panel surfaces show noticeable wavy deformations, accompanied by localized bulges, dents, warping, and even twisting. Common process-related causes include improper folding edge techniques, improper installation of reinforcing ribs, improper punching of hanging ears, improper perforation of panels, as well as storage and transportation processes.

Design Recommendation: To minimize deformation of aluminum curtain walls caused by design factors, it is essential to enhance the high-quality craftsmanship requirements.

· Strictly control improper bending processes, such as reasonable bending sequences, bending machine pressure/spacing, etc., to prevent deformation and severe springback after bending;

·Strictly control and enhance the installation process of reinforcement ribs to prevent issues such as waviness or localized dents after installation. This includes ensuring proper welding techniques, bolted connections, adhesive bonding, correct installation positions, and appropriate fastening forces;

·Strictly control the improper process of ear hole punching, ensuring reasonable and accurate ear hole positions (no need for adjustment during installation), elongated oval hole shapes, and hole wall quality (potential deformation sources); prevent wave deformation caused by ear holes, among other issues;

·Improper control of panel perforation process can include reasonable and accurate perforation rate and aperture design, perforation pattern and structural stress, punching edge stress, punching sequence, punching process internal stress, laser cutting thermal stress, etc; Prevent wave deformation caused by panel perforation;

·Strictly control improper storage and transportation processes, such as reasonable storage posture (vertical placement), position of wooden support points or binding fixing points, to prevent plastic deformation, bending deformation and other situations after the installation of reinforcing bars.
