The geometric beauty of facade design plays a crucial role in architecture, as it is not only the appearance of the building, but also the visual art created by architects through geometric principles. The geometric beauty of facade design not only affects the overall image of the building, but also reflects the architect's proficient use of geometric concepts such as proportion, symmetry, and shape.

The minimalist facade of the hotel building is made of large glass combined with metal composite materials, elegantly embedded in the building line, making the building another scenery of the city. Its simplicity and purity reduce the heaviness of the building, making it stand tall, lighter, and more aesthetically pleasing with modern lines.

Located in the central western region of Cluj Napoca, the Radisson Blu Hotel has undergone a two-year large-scale renovation, transforming from a hotel built in the 1980s into a modern and high-end brand hotel, showcasing contemporary elegance and style.

The hotel's new design concept is inspired by its geographical location and surrounding natural environment, drawing on elements from Europe's oldest public recreational garden, the city's central park, as well as incorporating modern architectural features from the surrounding community.

The hotel is located in one of the most vibrant neighborhoods of Cluj Napoca, within walking distance to Central Park, Cluj Arena, BT Arena, and the bustling old town, perfectly blending modern elegance with the timeless charm of Transylvania.

In the project renovation, Arhimar Architects' designers considered the original building structure and covered the minimalist frame style facade with lightweight and high-strength metal sheets: located in the terrace section, the two sides of the facade adopt a wilted geometric shape, injecting new vitality into the architectural form.

The architect is also extremely meticulous in selecting materials for the facade. After multiple comparisons, three "thick coating" colors were used, including polar frost with ice crystal texture, slate limestone, and antique brass full of retro atmosphere, bringing a different natural mineral texture to the building.

As the only five-star hotel in the city, it creates an unforgettable stay experience for guests with spacious rooms, unique dining concepts, and ultra modern conference facilities. The hotel has 149 guest rooms, each of which is equipped with large french window windows. Guests can have a panoramic view of the city and the Central Park.

When it comes to the Blue Label Hotel, it is inevitable to mention the "Beijing Royal Hotel", which was once part of the hotel group.

The Beijing Royal Grand Hotel (now the Beijing Royal Grand Hotel) is located on the third ring road of Beijing, adjacent to the China International Exhibition Center. It was jointly established by the China International Exhibition Center Group and the Swedish SAS Hotel Management Group, and was originally under the umbrella of the Li Hotel Group. It was the most stylish Nordic hotel in Beijing at that time and also the official reception hotel for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

In the 1990s, Beijing's architecture was at a critical moment of breaking and standing, a period of intense collision between tradition and modernity, and the field of architecture became the main battlefield. This is vividly reflected on the facade of the Beijing Royal Hotel.

Architects of this era are plagued by both tradition and modernity, struggling to maintain continuity while highlighting the individuality of the creators of the new era, and struggling to develop within constraints. At this time, architecture actively learned and adopted avant-garde and modern design.

The podium of the Beijing Royal Hotel is a very typical architectural style of the Beijing Imperial City. The entrance of the hotel is like an independent city gate with overhanging eaves and a glossy red color, showcasing the characteristics of traditional Chinese culture.

However, the facade of the tower is very innovative and avant-garde. The three-dimensional effect designed by the architect is distributed between the layers of the building, making the entire building facade more layered and full of dynamic rhythm.

The novel facade material of this building is made of aluminum composite materials recently imported from Germany, which is also the first application project of aluminum (plastic) composite panels in China. Its high completion rate and excellent results immediately attracted the attention of professionals in the field of architecture.

Today, 35 years have passed, and although this building has undergone several changes in ownership, its exterior facade still maintains a timeless state, witnessing the development and transformation of the sheet metal industry.
