Machines are the core of industrial buildings, with their unique functions and efficiency, rationality and logic, which showcase human intelligence and form a unique aesthetic experience. Based on this concept of "machine aesthetics", UUA regards the machinery and equipment of power plants as a set of exquisite "works of art".
The design concept of the project was inspired by the "Art Release Conference", and at the moment when the artwork was unveiled, people's expectations and excitement reached their peak. This project attempts to create such a moment in terms of architectural form.
The building surface on the upper part of the factory adopts a soft and dynamic form, like an unfolding "curtain", showcasing the machines inside the factory as "works of art" through the clear glass curtain wall to the visiting public.
