Materials and Composition

Exterior structure: Wooden structure with metal mesh hollow enclosure. Comment: This project has built 85 social housing units on the original Pizza Cinema plot in the city of Connera de Lobregat. The main structure is a five story wooden structure (with a concrete commercial floor), organized around a central courtyard. Four vertical transportation hubs are located at the four corners of the courtyard to promote neighborhood interaction. The plan consists of 543 modular spatial matrices of approximately 13 square meters, eliminating traditional corridors and maximizing the utilization of area. In terms of peripheral protection structure, the building is surrounded by a terrace and adopts a metal mesh facade, which not only forms a spatial sequence but also ensures ventilation and visual penetration.
