The Audio Museum, located in Gangnam gu, Seoul, is a museum that goes beyond traditional museum concepts. Here, you can not only see sound with your own eyes, but also experience it firsthand. Moreover, it is not just a place for listening to sound; It is an architectural instrument that allows people to return to their natural state and experience the five senses of the body.

The exterior design adopts vertically overlapping aluminum louvers, creating unpredictable shadows. The interplay of light and shadow between the louvers creates a beautiful effect like sunlight in a forest. The use of aluminum tubes imitates the changes in natural light, and the randomly arranged pipes blend the disorder and order of nature, emphasizing the beauty of light that varies with weather, time, and seasons. In addition, bright aluminum tubes surround the entire building, allowing the exterior to showcase new styles according to the season, integrating the urban environment and the random characteristics of nature into the building.

The interior of the exhibition room is made of wood and features a detailed design that we call "wooden curtains". This design is different from typical wood veneers and emphasizes the softness and naturalness of the wood. The transition from the hard aluminum material on the outside to the soft wood material on the inside achieves a gradual transition from the outside to the inside. The design of wood veneer takes into account acoustic effects, creating a space that stimulates human senses and promotes a sense of closeness to nature.
